1. Adjust your microphone volume:
You can adjust how loud or soft your voice sounds to others during a call or meeting:
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Next to the volume slider, select Audio settings .
- Under "input," drag the microphone slider left or right.
Tip: To mute the volume, select Microphone .
2. Check your microphone settings in Google Meet:
You can check which microphone is selected by navigating to the settings within Google Meet:
- On your Chromebook, open a Google Meet
- Click More .
- Click Settings .
- Click Audio then Microphone
- Confirm you have the correct microphone selected.
3. Remove your account from the Chromebook
Removing the user account from the Chromebook usually fixes most issues, to do this follow the steps below:
- At the bottom right, select the time
- Click Sign out.
- Next to the profile name, select the Down Arrow .
- Select Remove this user.
- In the box that appears, select Remove this user.
